What is PRINCE2?

PRINCE2® is a process-based approach for project management providing an easily tailored and scalable method for the management of all types of projects.

The method is the de-facto standard for project management in the UK and is practiced worldwide.

The continued international development of PRINCE2® examinations, training and course material is contributing significantly to the recognition of PRINCE2® as a truly international standard. More and more people are having the opportunity to benefit from the training courses and qualifications that are available worldwide.

So you've decided you want to become certified in PRINCE2® ... what's the best way?

Advance ITSM work only with Accredited PRINCE2® Training Organisations (ATO’s) You can either sit the exams through an ATO, or teach yourself the subject using your own reading material and then sit the examination via an Open Centre.

PLEASE NOTE; Advance ITSM are not an ATO for PRINCE2®. However we do act as an agent or broker to market courses through other ATO’s across the UK.

Exams

If you want to become a Registered Practitioner, you MUST sit the Foundation Examination and then the Practitioner Examination, in that order
You can sit both exams in the same week or even day, or you can split them and sit them months apart if you so wish
If you pass both examinations in the same week, you will receive a PRINCE2®Practitioner Certificate
